Welcome to the official site of the Asheville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.!

My name is Dakisha (DK) Wesley, and I am humbly honored to serve as Chapter President of the Asheville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, representing its executive officers and  chapter members! As a 25-year member of this great sorority, I remain committed to the vision of our 22 Founders and to leading this Chapter to greater heights as we continue its rich and impactful legacy.  

 

The Asheville Alumnae Chapter serves Buncombe County, the City of Asheville and the most western regions of North Carolina. Chartered in 1955, our programs are strategically implemented and aligned to the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

 

Our aim is to strategically move towards a higher destination of sisterhood and service through rededication to our sorority's mission. We strive HIGHER collectively - Having Intentionality as we soar to Greater Heights with Elevated Resilience!  We openly welcome new sorors to the area and those who want to reconnect.
