Greetings Sorors and friends,

My name is Tara Foster, I am humbled and honored to serve as President of the dynamic Asheville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (AAC-DST); chartered on May 14th, 1955, by nine astute, socially aware, forward-thinking women. On behalf of the members of AAC-DST, I welcome you to our website. We are a small but mighty chapter with less than 40 members committed to Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service and Social Action by upholding our chapter vision:

The Asheville Alumnae Chapter has been serving the community for an impressive 70 years with fortitude, commitment and purpose guided by the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust of our beloved Delta Sigma Theta:

• International Awareness and Involvement

• Physical and Mental Health

• Political Awareness and Involvement

 

We look forward to strategic partnerships with community stakeholders to provide continued quality programming in the Asheville area.
